The first bricks for Phase 2 – Hall were laid by young Aurovilians on November 24, 2003. Thanks to the generous support of numerous well-wishers, the building was completed within a year and a consecration ceremony was held on Sunday November 21st 2004.
This building was first used for exhibiting some of the Meditations on Savitri paintings created by the Mother with Huta in the 1960s. Now joined to the Main Building, it is used for exhibitions, guest lectures, concerts, the Om Choir and other functions.
